Keeping a double digit # of tabs open for longer than 2-3 hours eventually makes Windows complain of low memory (even with 8 GB of RAM!). The good things about Chrome? Silky smooth video playback, touchpad scrolling on laptop, and an amazingly diverse, high quality, and updated set of extensions. Problems from back then are still there now in Firefox, which made me switch back to Chrome. I tried Firefox for 3 months after being a Chrome loyalist for a good 3-4 years just to see how Firefox has changed since I last touched it. No idea what happened, but I'm glad it seems to be working properly.
